Who We Are and What We Do. . . .
RockStar Productions, Inc. is an experienced, energetic husband-and-wife entertainment service team, consisting of Matthew and Sarah Beth Martin, offering DJ and Karaoke DJ ("KJ") services throughout the Pittsburgh and Johnstown areas of Pennsylvania since 2002.
Be aware, there are some other independent DJ companies and/or individual DJ's out there with confusingly similiar names to ours. There's Rockstar this and Rock Star that, but there is only ONE RockStar Productions, Inc.!
How We Do That Thing We Do. . . .
RockStar Productions' music library includes over 150,000 songs for regular DJ play and over 100,000 karaoke songs - and, both libraries are continually expanding to include more and more of the hit songs you want to hear and sing.
Over 99% of our karaoke inventory consists of Sound Choice products. We play these premium karaoke discs on a multiformat CAVS karaoke unit and run sound on a Yamaha mixer and power amp. Our other equipment includes Peavey and Yamaha speakers, and, Sure and NADY microphones (both standard and wireless). We also have a PAR Can Lighting System available for optional lighting effects.
Why We Do What We Do. . . .
We here at RockStar Productions love music - so, I guess you could say that's why we do what we do. But, that's only part of the reason. There's something bigger at play.
As DJ's, we not only get to enjoy the music but we get to watch others enjoy it as well. What's more, as KJ's, we can give people the chance to experience what it's like to be up there on the stage singing for the crowd. We can give everyone the chance to feel like a star - even if only for one song on one night. You see, that's how Matt came up with the slogan for RockStar Productions - "With RockStar Productions, YOU are the Star!"
So, when you look at it this way, it becomes pretty obvious and quite clear why we do what we do. We do it to bring music, and stardom, to those who want, need, it the most.
You - the establishments and individuals we serve, as well as your guests and/or customers, and the stars who shine at our karaoke gigs - are our ultimate inspiration. We do this for you.
